I have had the privilege of seeing Shannon’s heart in action through rescue.
In rescue, networking is only one piece of the puzzle - the real miracle happens when someone says “yes.” Shannon has been that yes for urgent dogs who had almost no hope left.
As a volunteer, I can only advocate and make them seen. Shannon is someone who turns those pleas into second chances. Her kindness and commitment have directly saved lives, and I will always be thankful for her stepping up when it mattered most.
Dogs are alive today because she chose to care - and that is something truly special.
